Do you require more features on the new bike? You can’t evaluate the bike only by the number of gears it has. You may never even get around to using all the available gears. Save your money for a different feature you’ll really use. Safety is important when on a bike but do not overlook comfort, otherwise those long rides will soon grow tiresome.
